Holidays can be all go, can’t they?
September days
Still summer. Just, hopefully, a little cooler to get out and explore.
Set off on foot and follow a trail — or just follow your nose — and see where it leads. Take a detour because something catches your eye, discover a tiny church, an old bridge or somewhere good for lunch.
Spend an afternoon by the Creuse. Take a kayak out and paddle slowly downstream, drift for a while and take in the surroundings. Stop along the way, dip your feet in the water, skim a few stones — or, if you’re feeling braver, jump in for a wild swim.
There’s no need for a packed itinerary here. Pick a direction, take your time and see what you find.
Then head back to the meadow, put your feet up in a hammock and sway gently while you wait for the stars to make their appearance.
Tomorrow? You can decide what — if anything — you feel like doing then.
Come and spend a few September days at La Prairie Étoilée.
It’s all go! 🌾⭐️😆
