Domein Gaury in de Lot ( aan de grens met de Dordogne) bevat alle ingrediënten om uw vakantie te laten slagen. Drie ruime en gezellig ingerichte gites met alle comfort staan tot uw beschikking. Oradour-sur-Glane in the Haute-Vienne was destroyed by the SS Das Reich division on 10 June 1944, killing 643 of its residents.

The ruins of the village have been preserved exactly as they were left on that day, with the burned-out cars, the remains of the sewing machines in the dressmakers' shops, and the walls of the church where the women and children were burned.

Entry to the preserved village is free. Those who walk through the ruins and visit the memorial centre describe it as the most powerful and most emotionally devastating heritage experience available anywhere in France.
