Perched atop a limestone cliff, Beynac-et-Cazenac is a village where history is etched into every stone. Its 12th-century castle, once a stronghold for Richard the Lionheart, commands sweeping views of the Dordogne River. The village's cobbled streets and medieval architecture transport visitors back in time, offering a glimpse into France's storied past.

Today, Beynac-et-Cazenac is recognized as one of "Les Plus Beaux Villages de France," preserving its rich heritage and timeless charm.
