Today’s harvest… garlic. 🧄
It may not be prize-winning in size We did grow one monster garlic bulb this year…
Unfortunately, it had already disappeared into the kitchen before anyone remembered to photograph it, but we’re delighted with the harvest.
There’ll be garlic hanging in the pantry, some preserved in olive oil, some frozen for winter cooking, and plenty crushed into olive oil ready for the weeks ahead.
One of the things we love about life at Walnut Lodge is that the garden doesn’t just look beautiful—it feeds us too.
