Holiday Villa with Private Heated Salt-Water Pool in Estampes, Gers, France
La Borde de Clouzet was once part of a 15th century Chateau complex, part of whose walls still exist in the garden and whose floodlit chapel stands behind the house.
The property comprises 4 bedrooms, including a Large master bedroom with double bed, desk, chairs and sofa bed. Bedrooms 2 and 3 boast twin beds. Bedroom 4 has 2 single beds. There is ample wardrobe space in the bedrooms or corridor. 2 of the bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms and the remaining 2 bedrooms share a bathroom.
The well equipped kitchen includes a gas/electric hob cooker, electric oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, radio, central work station, breakfast table/chairs and French-windows to patio. Enjoy our excellent supply of kitchen equipment plus various herbs and spices. There is a separate Utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, sink, and freezer. Garden furniture available.
The living area is 140 sq.m. and features SAT television and DVD player, Stereo CD/radio system, Main and subsidiary seating areas and central library table and period furniture. There area 2 French-windows/doors to the patio area and an entrance door to summer dining area.
The Dining room seats 8 people (10 if you add the 2 end leaves) at a stylish glass dining table, next to kitchen and French-windows to patio.
Main access to the villa is through iron gates, with a gravel drive and gascon pond. There is a bridge to the beautiful upper garden with shrubs and fruit trees. The main garden area is lawn with many shrubs and trees and flower borders. There are numerous pot plants on the terrace which we ask guests to water, if possible. There is a fenced 10x5m pool which can be heated and lit at night. The outside dining area which adjoins the house comprises a top-of-the range Outback gas-fired BBQ, a Moroccan mosaic dining table with 8 chairs and a large leather settee.
There is parking available for guests and tourist leaflets in the hall about the many places to visit locally.
