Not every renovation starts with a blank canvas, sometimes, it begins with a story.
When we found this estate, we quickly realised it wasn’t just another beautiful home in Provence. It dates back to 1560, and you can feel it, in the walls, in the light, in the quiet presence of all the lives that have passed through here.
From the very beginning, one thing mattered to us most: honour the history, don’t erase it.
So when we renovated, we didn’t try to modernise everything. We listened. We preserved. We worked with the soul of the place, not against it.
One of the most special moments was discovering the attic, what we now call the treasure room.
It was filled with antique rugs, pottery, old books, centuries-old wedding gifts, delicate plates… and even a botanical encyclopaedia.
Instead of packing everything away, we chose to give these pieces a new life.
We turned the flowers into artwork, integrated objects into the design, and let the past become part of the present in a way that feels natural and alive.
Today, every room in the estate is completely different.
But they all share the same feeling: light, beauty, and a story waiting to be felt.
And us? We’re completely in love.
