The wine barn back in 2002. After many trials and tribulations coping with various builders and throwing the little money that we had at the building works, succumbing to many disasters; we settled down to renovating Chateau du Puits es Pratx as best we could, working back in London during the winters and functioning as a Chambre d’hotes and gites in the Summer. However, ours is just a story of gradually immerging into a culture, I do not want my story to be just about us, to me that would be so much like all the other stories about people buying a chateau in France and the disasters that befall them.

We are offering a fabulous four-course menu and hope that you can join us for a deliciously intimate evening, just you and the sultry music of Carmela Marie, a French-Spanish singer and the pianist composer Philippe Cauchi-Pomponi. Together they play the musical repertoire of smooth Spanish jazz in a very bare, intimate and sensual style. Their first album ‘Yemaya’ was released on the 11th of March 2015.

On the 14th of February we start our Spring and Summer concerts at Château du Puits es Pratx with the amazing ‘Carmela’s Project Duo’ on Valentines night.

Nous organisons un atelier de jazz pendant 3 semaines en Août organisé par le batteur du London Jazz Clive Fenner. Chaque vendredi ses étudiants feront un concert auquel L'Es Pratx invite le public à assister avec dîner inclus.
