The season may be over, but the memories will linger a little longer.
It is never quite goodbye. Just un au revoir.
Until spring blooms again and the hills turn green.
Until we find ourselves once again by the iconic pool of Provence.
Beefbar made its entrance this season. And what an entrance it was.
Love is, and always will be, what moves us.
Some dreams have a way of becoming reality.
Already missing the incredible team who made every moment feel effortless.
And this bed. Some places are simply too good to leave.
Thankfully, Vanille & Lilas lets us take a little piece of La Bastide home with us.
At La Table de la Bastide, Chef Pierre Marty brought Provençal flavours to life once again, with every dish celebrating the richness of the region.
The Spa by Guerlain transported us to another world, where time seemed to stand still.
At La Bastide, the little ones enjoyed their own adventures, while the grown-ups savoured theirs.
The Provençal sun illuminated our days.
Matthieu Lustrerie illuminated our evenings.
Cocktails with a view, the Luberon stretching into the distance, and nowhere else to be.
Or perhaps a cocktail at Beefbar. Some evenings call for a change of scenery.
Some encounters stay with us, becoming traditions that bring us back.
And some say yes for a lifetime. To love, to La Bastide de Gordes, and to the promise of another beautiful season. Until next spring.
