Our Story
La Cret is a collection of wonderful ancient stone buildings which we have converted into accommodation. A tranquil spot in the heart of the Mayenne region of France between Brittany, Normandy, and the Loire. We are perfectly situated to explore all three of these departments. We are surrounded by rolling countryside, wonderful walks in the local ‘bocage’ or sunken lanes, quiet country roads perfect for cycling, and magical menhirs, dolmens and prehistoric sites.
