We’re still getting over your lovely place in Tourtour.
We all agree: what a location – what a beautifully finished house – what a view!

Everything was provided (a sharp knife – hallelujah, a storage jar –coffee pods, laundry product).
They’re the little things, but they’re hugely appreciated.

The village itself is a delight too; we had some brilliant meals there, went to the market, and my bestie and I climbed up early in the morning a few times for a (delicious) cappuccino at Bar des Ormeaux.

We went on a few day trips, but we also thoroughly enjoyed staying on site and swimming, reading in the beautiful garden, playing badminton, pétanque or Rumikub.

Congratulations on your hard work, attention to detail and perseverance!

💛 MUST VISIT 💛

VILLECROZE , a hidden gem in the Haut-Var.

Just a 10-minute drive from Tourtour — or a beautiful 3–3.5 km walk downhill through the Provençal landscape — Villecroze is well worth a visit. The walk back takes you uphill again towards Tourtour.

Wander through the narrow streets of its medieval centre and discover the impressive troglodyte caves carved into the rock.

And on Thursdays, don’t miss the lively Provençal market!

History, nature and authentic Provençal charm — just around the corner.

VILLECROZE, een verborgen parel in de Haut-Var.

Op slechts 10 minuten rijden van Tourtour — of een prachtige wandeling van 3–3,5 km bergafwaarts door het Provençaalse landschap — is Villecroze zeker een bezoekje waard. De terugweg voert je weer bergopwaarts richting Tourtour.

Dwaal door de smalle straatjes van het middeleeuwse centrum en ontdek de indrukwekkende grotwoningen die in de rotsen zijn uitgehouwen.

En mis op donderdag vooral de levendige Provençaalse markt niet!

HAPPY REVIEW 😃

We just wanted to mention that LaPause is a fantastic house. The loveliest place we’ve ever stayed in. Everything was perfect down to the last detail and we really had a fantastic holiday.

Tourtour is a lovely, cosy little village and we’ll definitely be coming back here.

Thank you for the wonderful stay and the brilliant holiday we had.
