Cosy-up for Autumn & Spring!
With the new year beckoning, now is the time to start dreaming about fresh Spring walks, followed by chill out time in the hot tub. Then maybe a delicious meal at our local and very fabulous bistro and finally a nightcap curled up on the sofa in your comfy and cosy cottage!
Both of our luxury cottages have electric heating, which is included in our rental rates throughout the year. Jasmine cottage also has a lovely woodburner in the fireplace, with your first huge basket of logs free of charge! Unlike a swimming pool, the hot tub whirlpool bath remains open and bubbly hot all year, just perfect for a relaxing those tired muscles.

Two new visitors to our gardens this year! For the past two years we have seen a few Swallowtail butterflies towards the end of August but this year the fennel plants were covered with their big beautiful caterpillars. Also rescued this stunning Purple Emperor butterfly from the pollytunnel. Our gardens just keep getting better!

With 2015 drawing to a close our thoughts are turning to the preparation of the cottages for the coming year; re-painting, updating and as always working to improve the gardens. But before we get stuck into all that we would like to say a Big Thank You to all of our guests of season 2015! Some of whom we are looking forward to welcoming back to Brittany Spa Cottages in 2016 for a second, third and even fourth visit.
It really does mean the world to us to know that our guests have enjoyed their stay here. Thank you for making our job so enjoyable!

A rare event for 2015: The Lac de Guerlédan is to be drained between April and November 2015. To reveal a stunning drowned valley of ghostly cottages & farms!
The Lac de Guerledan is the largest lake in Brittany – it’s an artificial lake and was first flooded around 1930 and hasn't been emptied since 1985!
