The “Identity of the Conqueror” exhibition held in Tokyo showcased samples from all around the world, emphasizing how on tactility can enhance any print project, and how Conqueror various finishes and shades can convey a brand's positioning.

From Paris and Stockholm to Tokyo!

The event “Identity of the Conqueror” highlighted Europe’s finest printers' projects.

The exhibition showcased the Naturalité book by Alain Ducasse, printed on Conqueror Wove by Imprimerie du Marais and designed by Sophie Brice Creations for Soins Graphiques.

Additionally, coasters were also exposed, crafted with letterpress on Conqueror Connoisseur Rag by Norrbacka Tryckeri and designed by Marlene Birger.

And there were even some invitations from an iconic luxury brand..

Did you know that one of the world’s most iconic paper brands, Conqueror, recently held an exhibition in the heart of Tokyo?

Organized by the Japanese fine papers distributor Takeo in september/october 2025, the event invited visitors to explore Conqueror and its elegance and design at the Takeo Aoyama showroom.

With over 800 visitors, this “Identity of the Conqueror” exhibition showcased not only the craftsmanship of Conqueror paper but also its cultural impact.

The grammage of paper significantly impacts the appearance and feel of creative projects.

Thicker paper combines strength and aesthetics, but can be too rigid for some uses.

On the other hand, thinner paper feels easier to handle and more delicate to the touch.

Papers with higher grammage per unit area have greater strength and can hold their shape for magazine covers, packaging and 3D sculptures…

The Spanish collage artist Liber Tania creates tiny worlds on paper, using colourful cutouts that often feature vibrant flowers and vintage pin-up vibes.
