After much consideration, we have decided Le Petit Maine Gites will be open for business for summer 2021. We have already welcomed bookings from the beautiful Belgians and our favourite near neighbours from the Netherlands. We now hope Boris will allow a few of our UK visitors to join us this year.
Even after refusing reservations until last week we only have a few weeks left, so please message us if you would like to me to hold back a week for you if we get the GREEN light 😘

It's the final week of the 2020 season for Le Petit Maine Gites. Under such tricky circumstances, we've had a really successful summer with great guests. Thankfully last weeks departing guests made it home before the curfew. Thank you for re visitng Le Petit Maine and taking our first 'moody' photos! Lake Garda's loss was our gain 😎

Saturday again! The week flies by so quickly for our guests. One family leave today and another arrive to take their place. We rarely ask for reviews as many of our guests are returning visitors, so on the odd occasion we have a reservation via a booking site, there is an opportunity to comment on your stay.

A great riding school just round the corner from Le Petit Maine offers lessons in their outdoor & indoor arenas or local bridleway hacks for all abilities. We even see them come through our hamlet, they are that local to us 🐴🙂

Extra surprises were awaiting the arrival of our guests yesterday. Privileges for returning guests😁. It is a pleasure to welcome them back after they holidayed here last year and a compliment that they cancelled their previous plans in preference to returning to somewhere familiar where they could feel at home and be safe. Here's to a great fortnight.....

The flowers are blooming lovely and ready for all new guests at Le Petit Maine today. It is certainly an eclectic season as we welcome families from Belgium and Luxembourg and hope they enjoy their stay as much as our departing UK family🇧🇪🇱🇺😎

Today we say cheerio to the last of the Dutch contingency, they've been very easy guests to please and hope they go away with some great holiday memories..... the beautiful pool, the peace and tranquillity in the garden and Le Petit Maine's head of Pest Control versus the swarm of bees who wanted to share their tree! 🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝

Covid deep clean in progress as our first gite guests of 2020 have left. Sad to see them go. We would have loved them to stay longer and will welcome them back anytime.
