More scenes from the marché. One of many events in the region every summer you can visit from our gîte.

€70 a night for July and August. We have room for two adults and an infant or child up to 12 years. Plus dogs are welcome and glorious walks for them and humans from our front door.

Today was the annual Marché Normand in Gavray, our local town. Even in the in these high temperatures the threshing had to be done!

We have availability in our two person gite for some July and August dates if you want to get away from the heat of the city. Next available dates, 16th to 24th July.

We've given over part of our children's playground over to the wildflowers and grasses this May as bees and insects need all the help they can get. James did mow a wibby wobbly path through the middle for little ones to explore. I think there is still enough room for the volleyball/badminton net and football or game of petanque.

One thing we always had to take home from our holidays in France was Coings/quince jelly as just couldn't find in UK. Now not only can we buy it the fruit is easy to find too. So first go at homemade.
