Close to Avignon, Nimes, Arles, Pont du Gard and only ten minutes from the beautiful town of Uzes, capitol of the ancient Duchy. Les Marronniers has been our home since 1989, and after ten years of restoring it, we decided to open it up to a small number of paying guests. We thought about it a lot and were wondering how we would feel with strangers in our home. Then we realized that Les Marronnier

s has always been full of visitors. So we decided to think of our guests as friends coming to spend sometime with us. This has worked very well, both for us and for our guests. More
importantly, many of our guests have become our friends. In fact, our website (which we hope you will visit) was created by a guest who loved his visit with us. The real sign of happy visitors is that they come back - - and they do! We hope to see you soon at Les Marronniers. Johnny & Michel

Thank you for all your best wishes, Michel his now home from hospital, he his slowly getting back to his normal self, full of fun and a lot of complaining as only the French can do so well.

Right now our booking program is closed until Michel feels he's up to excepting more guests, if you want to make a booking just phone or email.

Dear Friends,

Thank you all for your kind and jolly emails and texts. Michel and I are overwhelmed by everyone's kindness and thoughtful messages.

There are far too many for me to reply to right away. I will be in touch over the next few weeks with more personal messages.

We are both well and in the main happy, while a little sad and worried about our friends and family in this strange and difficult time.

It is no fun being in the high vulnerable category, but we realise how lucky we are right now to be able to live here in La Bruguiere with our nice garden and walks.

We made a point of not taking any deposits for this year's bookings. Anyone with a Reservation can leave his booking as it is and cancel or confirm later when we know just what the rest of the year brings us.

We hope we are going to be able to welcome all our old and new friends to Les Marronniers again this Summer. It would be very strange, after 22 years, if we spend the summer without guests. Michel will find it very hard going to have to cope with my morning chatting with no guest to share some of the load.
