đš Cemetery Alert: Temporary closure of all Normandy American Cemetery plot areas —ïž
Normandy American Cemetery is currently under a water restriction due to drought conditions. While ABMC is working to maintain these sacred grounds and balance responsible water usage in accordance with host nation regulations, some lawns and landscaping may appear less vibrant than guests typically expect. As a precaution, all plot areas at the site are temporarily closed to visitors to limit further damage to the grounds.
Our staff will continue to conduct daily guided tours, and access to the visitor center, memorial, chapel, and Gardens of the Missing will remain open during this time. We appreciate the publicâs understanding, and will provide updates on the reopening of the plots.
