Our Story

Country Bed and Breakfast is situated in the quaint Aquitaine village of La Croix Blanche in South West France. It is a friendly guest house run and owned by husband and wife team Viv and Ian Buchanan, Situated on the outskirts of the village, in the middle of the French countryside, it is an ideal spot for couples to unwind and relax. The house sits in its own land, surrounded by fields. Horses graze in the paddocks surrounding the house. Rooms are comfortable and equipped with King sized beds and tea and coffee making facilities. Suitable for couples only.

There is a picnic area where guests can relax and enjoy the magnificent views over the countryside with its abundance of wildlife. There is also a hot tub where you can relax while enjoying the views in the peace and tranquility of our B&B. La Croix Blanche is a small and friendly village. We are just a short walk into the village itself where you can find the post office and a small bar/restaurant. It is easily reached by road, just off the N21.

We are within easy reach of Agen and Villeneuve-sur-Lot with their sights and shops. Just down the road from La Croix Blanche there is the quaint village of Bajamont and its lake. Or if you prefer, just a short car ride away, there are caves to explore. If you are interested in medieval towns and villages they are in abundance in the area. We would fully recommend a visit to Pujols, just up the N21, before Villeneuve. Nearest airports are: Bergerac 71.2 km Toulouse 139.2 km Bordeaux 171 km
