Spring is here and the village came out in full force yesterday to celebrate the new pedestrian area. Started at noon, last group left at 10 PM. Only in France do they celebrate removing a parking lot and adding a "eating area" :)

The Cathedral in Sarlat as photographed from the back side. Impressive!
Looks like it is situated in the countryside rather than in the middle of the town.

WE enjoy Rick Steves walking tours and found this fun link to see Sarlat from home. Wish we were there!
