Camping ‘Le pré du moulin’ offers you a nice relaxing vacation in the midst of beautiful, tranquil nature. The campsite satisfies the high quality three star standard since 2004. The camping is situated in the heart of the Corrèze, in a wooded valley on the banks of a small river. The terrain is flat and hedges, for your own privacy, separate the 22 plots of 100 to 150 sq m each. The campsite lies 300 m up the hill and is easily accessible by car, caravan or motorhome. From the mainroad N1120, which runs through the village of Laguenne, it is approximately 1 km driving on a unsealed road. For your every day shopping, a large super-market is nearby in Laguenne, 5 minutes drive by car. The English owners can give you, before and during your stay,all information in the French and English language. All the plots can be provided with electricity (6A) and fresh water points are situated around the site. Domestic animals are, in most cases allowed, providing that they are taken off-site for their toilet needs. Please contact the owners if you want to bring your animal with you. For many holiday makers the Corrèze is an unknown region. The Corrèze is situated between Limoges and Clermont-Ferrand. Our beautiful Corrèze is a meeting of vast forests with their beautiful colours. There are wild rivers and large lakes, extensive moors and the " healthiest fresh air" of all France. You will find here numerous unique slate pits, orchards, rivers and silent meadows with orchids. The great number of fortresses in the Corrèze will remind you of the impressive medieval history of the area. A holiday in the Corrèze is a journey back in time with all of todays comfort. Listen to the many birds. Look at the many flowers, a variety of orchids especially, and in general enjoy your stay with us. Vacationers, who do not have their own camping gear, can move into one of our two wooden chalets. They are fully equiped but without sanitary facilities, traditionally built to blend in with the natural environment. The chalets are situated halfway in the forest surrounding our campsite and can be rented on a weekly basis. Camping ‘Le pré du moulin’ has modern, hygienic sanitation.The sanitary facilities blend in well with the surroundings and offer all the comfort you could wish for. Cleanliness and hygiene is our top priority, your guarantee of quality and a successful holiday. There are facilities to do your laundry yourself, at minimal cost. We have a swimming pool comfortable to relax in, or do your laps for the more active. A little stream is nearby and is safe for children, but adult guidance is always advisable. For those who do not wish to do their own cooking, a good restaurant with a beautiful view of the camping and surroundings is available. We have a 3 course daily menu, snacks, drinks and ice cream. You can stay in the restaurant or take-aways are also available. If you enjoy bbq-ing in the evening after a day full of activities, there are three communal barbecues at your disposal. The many small authentic villages, situated in a magnificent setting, make the Corrèze a true paradise for the active lovers of nature and their children.
