Visitors are welcome to help with the animals (eg collecting eggs, grooming horses). This is a holiday for people who love the countryside and animals . If you are looking for an escape from the pressures of modern life then this is it! There is internet access (but hopefully you won't want to use it too much as you'll be too busy relaxing...) If the peace and quiet does get too much there are plenty of things to do nearby. The historic town of Alencon is just 15 minutes away . There are many beautiful old buildings and a World Heritage Site museum. There are plenty of shops and a lovely market on Thursdays and Saturdays. St Leonard du Bois 15 minutes in a different direction has an outdoor activity centre (climbing, canoeing, tree top walks). The National Stud the 'Haras du Pin' is 40 minutes away. This is not just for horse lovers as the architecture is amazing and it is set in beautiful countryside. The Normandy Beaches can be reached in approximately an hour.
