Thank you for all my kind birthday wishes! I got treated to some new chickens, so I’m a happy girl! Two Rhode Island reds and a sweet little silkie to add to my flock ! I’ve named them Eddie. Patsy and Saffron, the former 2 are proving to be a little camera shy 🤣🤣 A couple of signs arrived for the gate today too, so will hopefully keep them all safe!

Line up my little dumplings! If you mix black & white you get grey 🤣🤣🤣 I do love my silkies , I could watch them all day, and such little characters ! They actually shout at me outside the kitchen door 💕🤣💕🤣🐥

New for summer 2026 our smoked salmon breakfast board ! Fresh smoked salmon, delicate creamy cream cheese, grilled on the vine tomato’s, sautéed mushrooms, scrambled eggs from our free range chickens,avocado done two ways, smashed with a hint of chilli and naked , and toasted bagels !! 😋😋😋What’s not to like? Serves 2 hungry people !

Another beautiful morning in Lanouaille, even the sky has been decorated to celebrate the on going arrival of spring 🌸🌼 It makes my mood improve so much, I’m definately not a winter girl! Unfortunately for me that means more spring cleaning for me as we wake up this house from its sleepy slumber and make her shine and sparkle again! We also have to try and tame the garden again! It never ends ! Have a good day peeps! X &breakfast
