Welcome to La Ferme des Bélugues, a charming chambre d’hôte and gîte at the foot of Mont Ventou La ferme des Bélugues is run by Karen and Spencer Martin.

La Ferme des Bélugues offers comfortable accommodation and facilities with beautiful views in a tranquil and natural setting. Five beautifully decorated bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities, as well as a secluded gîte with its own terrace and kitchen for those wanting a bit more independency. In addition the restored 15th century farmhouse has great facilities for guests including a convert barn

with full kitchen, a yoga and stretching room, swimming pool and sun loungers, and wonderful facilities for cyclists. For those of you who's holiday is all about cycling this is the ideal place for you. We have tailored facilities for cyclists, we have gone to great efforts to have everything you need to make your stay as relaxing and memorable as possible, this includes our dedicated cycle studio which has everything you need for your time on your bike. With can give assistance with the planning of your routes, as well as guided and supported rides, arranging post ride massages with a former Grand Tour and World Championship soigneur, if you do not want the hassle of traveling with you own bike we can also arrange the hiring of bikes locally. This region produces amazing food and is renowned for its produce, this allows us to cook well balanced and nutritional meals which will promote recovery and set you up for your next day in the saddle. Having both spent several years living and working across the world we found nowhere more relaxing than when we holidayed in Provence. Our passion for cycling, the scenery and of course the region’s food and wine meant that we returned numerous times each year. We would love for you to join us at our wonderful house and to explore the region.

Earlier this week we went on a little family outing to the Dauphiné time trial. There was a vicious climb half way through peaking at 15%. The storm drain on the side of the road turned into a makeshift row of terracing in the shade, there was a great atmosphere but because it was during the week (and not the tour) it wasn’t too busy. Remco was absolutely flying, even Fergus was watching the action (although he they did have a sunbathe and snooze!!). Pog’s parents where next to us of the climb and Karen had a quick chat with them (they’re super friendly), and they cheered every ride that went passed.

Give your bike its best holiday ever!!!

The spring has arrived and we are all ready to go for your next cycling adventure. The cycle workshop has had a new lick of paint, we have updated the library and added new artwork. There is even a new cobblestone start to your ride.

We have everything you need for your cycling holiday. There is a fully stocked secure workshop, we have a nutrition bar with SiS and Mulebar products, Park Tools to prepare your bike, washing machine for your cycle kit. Post ride there is a wash area with MucOff products to get your bike sparkling again. If you’re in the Gite you get your own private cycle room..............and when you have finished cycling for the day why not relax on a terrace in the sunshine.

We only have limited availability for the summer, but we have bedrooms available in the autumn which is the perfect time to ride the Ventoux and the other great roads in the region.

With a New Year rapidly approaching what challenges do you have planned? Mont Ventoux and the surrounding area has plenty to offer in that department both on and off the bike. If you have climbed the giant of Provence before maybe this time you want to try three or even four times. Either way this mountain always gives you a different experience depending on what mood it is in every time you climb it. Take a well earned coffee and relax after .cc or 📸
