In December 2020, we (Jayne, Paul & Sam) fulfilled our dream and moved lock stock and mammal to France, settling in the historic town of Le Dorat, in the heart of the Limousin countryside. We chanced upon No.17 and immediately decided it was going to be our home. A former Coach House and stables, No.17 has been sympathetically converted to accommodate two self-contained holiday gîtes:

Set in three acres of grounds and sharing a fabulous 10m x 5m in-ground pool (open May-September) each gite benefits from a private garden, bbq and outside dining pavilion. The lovely communal gardens are home to numerous fruit & nut trees, and shared by our resident donkeys, chickens and 5 rescue cats. Guests can stay connected (should they wish!) with free Wi-Fi and satellite TV for which they can choose English or French channels. The property is accessed via a private gated car park with ample parking and the bars, restaurants and shops of Le Dorat can be reached within a few minutes walk.
