A wonderful day out yesterday at the 4th edition of Les Tractoriales (La Fête de la Moisson) at Lac de Caussade in Pinel-Hauterive! 🚜🌾

It is always a treat to celebrate local heritage, see impressive working machinery from years gone by, and enjoy the lively community atmosphere just a few kilometers from our doors in Monclar.

A dish inspired by French/Italian cuisine. Gnocchi with duck livers, fresh sage and port. This dish pairs beautifully with a medium-bodied red such as a Pinot Noir or a Côtes du Rhône, or a lightly chilled white Burgundy. Our guests loved it.

Un plat inspiré de la cuisine française et italienne : des gnocchis au foie de canard, à la sauge fraîche et au porto. Ce plat s'accorde à merveille avec un vin rouge de corps moyen, comme un pinot noir ou un côtes-du-rhône, ou encore un vin blanc de Bourgogne légèrement frais. Nos hôtes ont adoré.
