La Maison au Coin is a newly refurbished bed and breakfast close to the banks of the Vienne. This is a popular river for fishing, kayaking, and water skiing. The area is also a centre for hiking and cycling. The house is situated right on the border between the communes of Le Vigeant and L'Isle-Jordain. It is close to shopping and other amenities. We are just 2km from the Val de Vienne racetrack a

nd have special offers for race goers such as early door breakfast and late checkin. The French room is on the first floor and has a private wc, bath and shower right next door. This room is a king size double. On the second floor there are a further two bedrooms, the English room, a king sized double, and the Swiss room which is a twin with full size single beds. They both have an en suite wc and shower and original beamed ceilings. There is also a mezzanine with tea and coffee facilities and a TV with DVD player. Hundreds of DVDs are available alongside the many books. On the river bank the house has a leisure plot of approx 1 acre with a large wooden cabin, decking, and a stone patio ideal for barbecues and parties. The leisure plot is approx 50m from the house along the river bank accessed via one flight of steps. The cabin has a petrol generator and solar panel feeding a pair of leisure batteries for lighting later in the evenings. It is possible to park two or three cars immediately outside or across the road from the property. Other parking is available on the street or in the large free car park 5 mins walk away.
