Every good chambre d’hôtes needs someone in charge of welcoming guests.

At Le Clos de Leuc, that important responsibility belongs to Socks, our official Guest Welcome Officer.

Socks is extremely cute, highly photogenic and, judging by the comments from our guests, already one of the most popular members of the team.

His duties include keeping an eye on arrivals, inspecting the terrace and garden, supervising village life and, whenever appropriate, offering guests a friendly welcome.

He takes his responsibilities very seriously — although he can occasionally be distracted by interesting smells, the possibility of a walk or the prospect of a treat.
