A New Project - La Grenouille Noire
With just a few weeks left before I get the keys to my new home... I’m beginning to get a little over excited!
Five years in La Souterraine, renovating and running an award-winning guest house and it was time to move on - to build and improve on my first project, Maison Volière - and to find a new home with plenty to keep me busy!
Out of the blue I spotted the picture of my new home on the web... just the garden gates, no other pictures on the listing at all... I immediately fell in love!
What I am going to do on this FB page is document the renovation and story of my new home - ‘La Grenouille Noire’ - add before and after pictures, detail the buildings history (especially the 17th century underground prison cells!) The page will become an archive of its change from a collection of derelict building into a new home, guesthouse, holiday lets, salon du thé, mini museum and whatever else takes my fancy!
