When looking for a place to spend a short vacation, a romantic weekend or a night to recover enroute, La Tour offers a peaceful country retreat. The 18th century farm house provides an authentic French atmosphere,with two cosy bedrooms, private bathroom, fully equiped kitchen, spacious living area and terrace. The various animals that stroll in the garden underline this feeling and fresh eggs are

available for a nice full-cooked breakfast (small additional fee). The continental breakfast (included) is accompanied by organic jam,French pastry and other foods which make the mornings something to look forward to. June is happy to prepare breakfast for any time you wish, when given notice the latest the evening before. The local area is rich in attractions, such as Charolles (the closest town, which has remained charmingly unchanged) and close-by Lyon. The local fields are grassed by Charolais cattles and stunning chateaux can be found near-by. On market days, the small towns offer a variety of their homemade cheeses, meat, pastry, vegetables and fruit as well as other things to discover. A cosy farm house dating from the 1740's with a double bedroom, large living area and fully equiped kitchen. June, your host, is more than happy to prepare continental breakfast - (or English style for a small supplement...with eggs from her own hens).
For relaxing winter nights, the lounge area has a fire place, while long summer evenings can be spend on the terrace overlooking the surrounding coutryside.
