GRATUITERIE AU SHAREHOUSE!!
Nous libérons notre lieu de vie associatif et avons pleins de livres et objets, jeux de société etc. à donner.
Dimanche, lundi, mardi entre 13h et 17h au Sharehouse, 66C rue Sainte, 13001 (Descendre à l'entresol au milieu de la cour).

Nous allons bientôt fermer mais nous avons bien combattu jusqu'au bout! 🙂 Merci à tous ceux qui ont participé à Hello Marseille et vécu cette belle expérience de communauté citoyenne libre et autogérée" depuis 10 ans!

Face à l’inaction du département des Bouches-du-Rhône depuis janvier, Médecins sans frontières et Médecins du Monde ont déposé un référé-liberté au tribunal administratif de Marseille. Victoire pour certains mineurs non-accompagnés qui vont être pris en charge par le Département.

Le centre des 4 saisons accueille 31 mineurs non-accompagnés. Depuis la mise en place du confinement dû au coronavirus, ils sont présents 24 h/24 au centre. Ce qui pose des problèmes de main d’œuvre, de gestion alimentaire, sanitaires… Le personnel tient bon, pour le moment.

Dear Friends of Hello Marseille ,

After some difficult past months, we are re-opening "Hello Marseille- community guesthouse" and several cultural activities at the Sharehouse. We expect to maintain the current flow at least until March 2020.
You can stay with us as a travelling member, resident or social activist, join our local canteen for dinners, cook for our "Discosoupe" distributing food in the street once a week or support the community with your time or competencies. You can also help us by spreading our information and volunteering programmes to your close circles.

Après quelques mois difficiles, nous ré-ouvrons notre auberge associative et plusieurs activités culturelles au Sharehouse. Nous espérons maintenir le flux actuel jusqu'à fin mars 2020 minimum. Vous pouvez rester avec nous en tant que membre voyageur, résident ou activiste social, vous joindre à notre cantine locale, cuisiner pour notre "discosoupe" qui distribue des repas dans les rues une fois par semaine, ou soutenir la communauté avec votre temps et vos compétences. Vous pouvez aussi nous aider à diffuser les informations de nos programmes de volontaires auprès de vos cercles proches.

Dear Backpackers friends who loved Hello Marseille Guesthouse and Sharehouse ... We will not be able to restart our non-profit hostel activity !

Following our post from 2nd of August, we have to inform all our backpacker friends that we were unable to face the major disturbance caused by the abusive behavior of the owner of Sharehouse premises and in particular the fall of a ceiling in our volunteers room in October last year. We had to evacuate our community area on the 1st of March 2019 for emergency repairs and spent the entire summer suffering from a never-ending reconstruction work, operating on very hard conditions.

We are not only sad for our community, but also for the damage that is done to the patrimony of our city and the way small people are treated by real estate crooks. 10% of the population in Marseille is facing a similar situation!

As per today, the reconstruction is still not finished and we had to completely stop operations late August. We are now only able to welcome activist travellers/residents who want to stay over 2 weeks and help with local activities.

Today Hello Marseille is looking forward to re-establish itself as an activist community and focusing on the other sustainable projects we develop. We are sorry for the inconvenience for our backpacker friends. You can still come say hello if you are interested to join some activities or to meet us!

This is a critical period when all support and help is welcome, do not hesitate to contact us. Meanwhile we send you all our kindest regards from beautiful Marseille and hope to cross many of you on the road,

Today we learn that our community is endangered by local real estate crooks who want to expel us from our Sharehouse project and hide how they destroy a 400 years old building with speculative behavior and total disrespect of people. We will try to inform everybody of the developments and spread the info to call for help in the coming months. Kind regards to all Hello Marseille supporters and see you soon ! Cedric
