Cette ancienne bastide provençale bourgeoise du XIXème siècle a hébergé la demoiselle de Villefrance, communément appelée par les maubecquois “La Comtesse du Bois Bréant”, figure emblématique d’un des plus beaux villages de France dans le Lubéron mais aussi et surtout, en 1808, elle a été la résidence de Monsieur Joseph André, maire de Maubec qui en a défini les contours et son aspect architectural. Le Domaine et le village ont ainsi une histoire commune.

Hébergements et séjours insolites
Le parc du domaine s’étend sur plus de de 2 hectares. Constitué de nombreux chênes truffiers, il attise la convoitise, mais il est surtout un lieu voué à la flânerie et à la détente.
Des cabanes dans les arbres (pour 2 ou 4 personnes) et une roulotte gypsy ont alors été installée afin de mieux se rapprocher de la nature, tout en préservant la faune et la flore. Cette démarche écologique va dans le sens de la protection de la planète.
