🇫🇷Alors que nous abordons le dernier week-end de la saison pour notre site de glamping, nous pouvons prendre le temps de faire le bilan. L'année 2026 a été bien particulière. Nous avons commencé avec d'importants dégâts causés par la tempête Nil, ce qui nous a contraints à repousser notre ouverture au 1er juillet. Nous avons ensuite dû affronter la crise du carburant, puis des chaleurs extrêmes et enfin les incendies de forêt. Cette année nous a mis à rude épreuve. MAIS nous avons tenu bon et passé une année formidable, avec des clients charmants et de nombreux souvenirs à la clé. Nous avons eu droit au « boulet » de service qui nous a laissé un avis d'une étoile, critiquant la propreté du « soleil brûlant » et jugeant la vue plutôt « terne ». Ça vaut le détour sur Airbnb.
Quoi qu'il en soit, nous accueillons demain nos derniers clients de la saison sur le site de glamping. Rassurez-vous, nous ne fermons pas complètement nos portes, car nous avons décidé de laisser le Gîte Marcadis ouvert toute l'année.
Vous vous demandez peut-être quelles sont les nouveautés pour 2027 :
*Une refonte de l'espace piscine et détente.
*Suppression du petit bassin (plunge pool) et création d'un nouvel espace ping-pong avec des sièges.
*Nous nous occupons de notre île : le chalet en bois sera transformé en « chalet d'observation de la faune », offrant un lieu idéal pour se détendre et admirer la vie sauvage dans le confort.
*Un nouveau bloc sanitaire au sein du site de glamping.
*Fin de l'activité camping classique ; installation de 2 nouvelles tentes de glamping, portant le total à 5 emplacements de ce type.
*Aménagement et nettoyage des abords du lac.
*Un nouveau hangar pour abriter nos trois bateaux.
*Un nouveau sol pour le gîte Marcadis.
*Une nouvelle salle de bain pour le gîte Marcadis.
Ouf ! Je crois que c'est tout, mais qui sait ? Tout dépendra des conditions météorologiques hivernales. Merci à ceux qui nous ont rendu visite cette année. Nous rouvrirons le site de glamping du 1er juin au 31 août. À bientôt !

🇬🇧As we approach the final weekend of the season at our glamping site, we can take a moment to reflect. 2026 has been quite a year. We started off dealing with significant damage caused by Storm Nil, which forced us to delay our opening until July 1st. We then had to contend with the fuel crisis, followed by extreme heat, and finally, wildfires. It was a challenging year. BUT we persevered and had a wonderful time, with lovely guests and plenty of great memories. We even had the obligatory "nightmare guest" who left us a one-star review, complaining about the cleanliness of the "scorching sun" and describing the view as rather "dull." It’s worth a look on Airbnb.
In any case, we are welcoming our last glamping guests of the season tomorrow. Rest assured, we aren't closing our doors completely, as we’ve decided to keep the Gîte Marcadis open all year round.
You might be wondering what’s new for 2027:
*A revamp of the pool and relaxation area.
*Removal of the small plunge pool and creation of a new table tennis area with seating.
*We’re taking care of our island: the wooden cabin will be transformed into a "wildlife observation cabin," offering the perfect spot to relax and admire nature in comfort.
*A new sanitary block within the glamping site.
*Discontinuation of the traditional camping; installation of 2 new glamping tents, bringing the total to 5 glamping tents.
*Landscaping and cleanup of the lakeside area.
*A new boat house for our three boats.
*New flooring for the Marcadis gîte.
*A new bathroom for the Marcadis gîte.
Phew! I think that’s everything, but who knows? It all depends on winter weather conditions. Thank you to everyone who visited us this year. We will reopen the glamping site from June 1st to August 31st. See you soon!
