Waiting patiently for breakfast this morning.
Myself and Frida are off to Bazouges-la-Pérouse for the Halloween celebrations now. Iggy enjoyed a spin to Forêt de Villecartier earlier, so she can rest until we return in an hour or two.
We also called to Château de Chambres Mont Saint Michel. to say goodbye to Marie and Martin, Glencolmcille, as they are closed for the season and head home tomorrow.
If you are going to be visiting the Normandy/Brittany region, we highly recommend Château de Chambres as a base. It's a very short drive from Mont Saint-Michel.

We covered a huge amount of ground on our first day in France with Mont Saint-Michel, the target for that evening (from Roscoff) and eventually our accommodation at Château de Chambres Mont Saint Michel. On the way, we stopped in the medieval town of Dinan (photo), where I got a nice collection of shots with this one taken by a tourist. I had already taken photos of Frida in this doorway, and a couple observed us leading them to do same. So, thinking that they were French, I gestured an offer to take the shot. It turned out that they were from the US and were travelling in Europe to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary! We had a nice chat where I told them about Iggy (waiting in Gallivant) and Frida's story, and I mentioned that the girl's have fans in every single US state.
A lovely encounter and a catalyst for what lay ahead.

112e Tour de France 🇫🇷
De retour en Normandie. Les villes de Rouen, Caen, Bayeux, Vire et la Suisse normande.

10 JUILLET 2025.
Un départ de Bayeux. La capitale du Bessin attend la Grand Boucle depuis de très longues années maintenant.

Il n’était pas revenu depuis le Grand Départ organisé dans la Manche en 2016.
