Five years ago, we made the decision to leave the UK behind and begin a completely new chapter in my native France. Tim and I bought the hamlet of Jurmilhac in the Dordogne, with a dream of creating a place where people could slow down, reconnect, and make beautiful memories.
It was a bit of a leap into the unknown and in the begining there were days I felt scared and doubtful but the journey quickly became more rewarding than we could ever have imagined. These recent photos capture exactly why we did it. They reflect our love for each other, and for the life we have chosen together.
Today, four of the five houses in our little hamlet are holiday villas, and welcoming guests from around the world is something we truly love. There is so much joy in ensuring our guests have wonderful holidays and leave with memories they will carry with them for years to come.
We feel incredibly fortunate to have found meaning and happiness in what we do every day.
