We had lunch at our favourite restaurant yesterday: L'Escala dau Lemosi. Situated 3km from the gite, it is on the side of the water skiing lake . During the summer months you can eat on the terrace overlooking the lake. The food is amazing and booking in advance is essential. The Plat du Jour is a lunchtime set meal with choices of starter, main course and dessert. 2 glasses of wine are included and it's only 22 euros. They also have an la carte menu. It's well worth visiting!!

We spent the afternoon at this beautiful lake: so child and dog-friendly. During July and August( the French summer holiday) there are pedaloes and paddle boards free to use and there is a life-guard on duty. It's very beautiful.
