Snuggle up for a well earned siesta on the comfiest sofa in Morzine – we challenge you not to succumb to slumber land once seated. For those whose respites are inspired more by music than sleep, the piano located downstairs is a great way to unwind and has been the scene of many an evening singalong. For those unable to play more than chopsticks – your host will be on hand to entertain and delight…
Throughout Spring, Summer and Autumn, Chalet la Combe is available on a Bed & Breakfast basis, with the option of catering services available as and when required. It is situated a leisurely 10-15 minute flat walk into town with a free bus regularly running during season time from the bus stop 50 metres from the chalet, transporting guests into the hustle and bustle of Morzine town and to the Super Morzine bubble that gives access to the fantastic walking/cycling areas of the Portes du Soleil. There is a brilliant selection of bars and restaurants in town with something to suit everyone and we are happy to point you in the right direction for a good night out or make a table reservation at one of many splendid local restaurants. Morzine itself is also well situated - Geneva, Chamonix, Annecy and Italy are all within 1 1/4 hours driving. We can offer assistance with transfers if needed. The Chalet is taking part in the MultiPasse scheme which enables guests to buy daily passes for 1 or 2 euros – which gives unlimited access to the lifts, swimming pools and water parks in Morzine and Avoriaz plus tennis and mini golf -amongst other things. Parapenting, Horse Riding, White water rafting, Biking and Fishing are also very popular and can be booked for you by your Host – The lovely Jan Siegl. About your host. Jan has been living in Morzine since 1997 and is a legend in her own living room knowing practically everything there is to know about Morzine itself and the surrounding area. She has a plethora of regional knowledge and being the avid adventurer/walker that she is, has many a tale to tell of hidden gems to visit and “must-do” walking routes all over the Alps… If you don’t have your own transport to get you to these magical places, this can be arranged for you. Parking is available at the bottom of the Drive. Everyone is welcome at Chalet LaCombe and we do encourage cyclists to stay with us – there’s storage in the Garage for 2 road bikes. However, sadly the Chalet is not geared up for groups of Mountain Bikers. Payment
