Chalet of the Month: Le Faon 🦌

Restaurants a short stroll away. Deer in the field behind you. At Le Faon, there’s plenty to enjoy before you’ve even put your skis on.

The nearest restaurants are less than five minutes’ walk away, and the free ski bus stops just 50 metres from the chalet. Head out for the day, then come home to a soak in the outdoor hot tub and an evening around the wood-burning fire.

There’s a snug under the eaves for movie nights, two balconies for taking in the mountains, and a kitchen for the evenings when everyone would rather stay in.

Four bedrooms, sleeping eight adults and one child. Self-catered, so you can make the week your own.

Okay, it’s too early for Christmas songs, but a cancellation has opened up Christmas week at Melodie, a rare chance to swap the usual family Christmas for a fireside, mountainside singalong.

That “one year we should all go away” conversation? This might be the year.

Hidden away in Les Bossons, on the quiet road between Morzine and Les Gets - two minutes from Piste B, six from the Pleney lift, and gloriously quiet in between.

Brand new to AliKats. Available year-round - winter, spring, summer, autumn.

Last night the AliKats team gathered for dinner with breathtaking views over Lac Léman — and then the sky decided to add its own kind of magic, with a partial solar eclipse lighting up the water. ✨

There's something pretty special about sharing a moment like this. And yes, someone still couldn't resist one last dive in before the light faded. 🤿

Did you know? The Moon is about 400 times smaller than the Sun — and also about 400 times closer to Earth. That perfect cosmic coincidence is the only reason we get to see moments like this at all. 🌙☀️

Just another reason we love calling this place home. 💛
