Le Puy Chevalier

The property dates back to the 1600s. The tower from the 1600s and some of the house rebuilt in the 1700s.

During this time, it seems to have been owned by a Knighted family, which is probably why the area was called Le Puy Chevalier (The Knights Hill)

A little project to renovate the old orchard and the trees. Phase 1 started at the end of last year, pruning trees and clearing ivy etc. Likely to be a few years to fully complete but it's starting well. We even managed to get a good batch of cherries from the first of the pruned trees. We look forward to seeing how the apples harvest turns out 😁.

In the meantime, a picnic up there is long overdue 😎
