Pavillon des Lettres

Pavillon des Lettres An impossibly chic retreat for anyone who loves art and literature - and a subtle alternative to the

Le Pavillon des Lettres has openned in November 2010, just off the Rue Faubourg Saint Honoré in the 8th arrondissement. As a sister hotel to Pavillon de la Reine in the Place des Vosges, it shares the same owner and designer. As its name would imply, Le Pavillon des Lettres is a homage to literature. How could it not be with 26 rooms ... one for each letter of the alphabet?

‘For my evening’s entertainment at the Le Pavillon des Lettres, I had no other than me, myself and I – oh, and a whole library of award-winning literature. While it’s rare to see a public experience designed for the individual rather than for a couple or group, the hotel’s trademark literary wine pairing is by its nature best enjoyed by yourself… That evening, I spent a delightful three hours of reading time in the hotel’s charming salon area, sinking into the plush velvet sofa and enjoying the flickering glow from the fireplace.’1

Reading is, for many, one of the greatest solitary pleasures – and where better to do it than at Le Pavillon des Lettres, a literary boutique hotel in the heart of Paris?
