The Wall of Love is much more than a work of art: it is a monument dedicated to love ❣️

Erected in 2000 in the romantic garden of Square Jehan Rictus, Place des Abbesses in Montmartre, it was born from the imagination of artist Frédéric Baron.

His dream? To collect « I love you » written in every language in the world.

He knocked on doors, asked passers-by, and collected these words like treasures.

Today, there are 612 tiles, more than 300 languages, and a place that has become a universal symbol of love, just a few steps from the Hôtel des Arts.

A must-see for lovers of Paris and Montmartre 💫
