Happy Birthday Sacre Coeur

Bon Dimanche & happy birthday to the Basilica of Sacré-Coeur (sacred heart) in Paris. The first stone was laid today, 16 June, in 1875. On top of a hill in Montmartre, it's position makes it the second highest point in the city (after the Eiffel Tower) from which you'll get great views. It's the second most visited church in Paris (after Notre-Dame) & it's bell is one of the heaviest in the world - a mind boggling 19 tons!
