On the 22nd of April, we will be leaving La Villonniere. As many of you know, Chris had a stroke a year ago and is now confined to a wheelchair. We tried to continue with the chambres d’hotes but it became too difficult for me to cope on my own so we decided to sell and move back to England. We have enjoyed our time here and are very grateful to everyone who helped us make La Villonniere such a success but it is time to move on and start another chapter.

Autumn in France is a time of peace and quiet, beautiful colours, stable weather and nature's bounty of figs, quince and walnuts. What's not to like.
