That’s a wrap for the spring work. Vines are pruned, old cane removed, post/wires repaired, vines tied to support wire, cane tied down, intercepting done, and every other row tilled. A few days to work on the garden then off to adventure. See you in May my little pretties. Grow big and strong.

Current happenings in the vines

The term veraison (pronounced "ver-ray-ZOHN") refers to the stage in grape development when they begin to ripen and change color. It's a French term that signifies the transition from a green, unripe state to a state where the grapes start accumulating sugars and developing their characteristic color.

This Sunday, March 23, we will present our 2023 Sav Blanc and 2021 Malbe (100%) to 75+ people on the River Cruise. They stop each Sunday from now until Sept for tastings of wines.
