🌲With a mighty crash our beautiful sequoia split in half and fell on the house🙈. Then before we had time to take the remaining part down, the last raging storm caused it to split in half again and that part landed on the house too. I loved that tree, yes it was planted far too close to the house but it was beautiful & a home to many 🐦⬛🦉🐿️. Roughly 120 years in the making, it would surely have some stories to tell. On the bright side, its wood is beautiful, we’re going to try to mill it to make something to remember the 🌲 by. And of course, we also need to fix the house. Just when we thought we had finished ! 🪵
