🔷🔸🔴As you contemplate the amazing landscape of the towers and white collar workers suddenly your eye is caught by two gigantic fantastic dancers, in what appears to be the changing shape and sharp movements of a carnival. This surrealist couple seems to be evolving in a huge ballroom, which walls and columns would be the endless skyscrapers all along the Esplanade.

These two characters, huge, over 10m each, are typical of Joan Miro, although late in his work. They were set in La Défense between Calder’s Red Stabile and the entrance of Les Quatre-Temps mall in 1978. If the press did not really see the beauty of the piece, kids, as well as adults who kept their children’s hearts, really enjoy the break of joy and happiness the dancers bring to La Défense.
Miro’s gift pretty much depends on you. As you rush to your next meeting all dressed up and stressed out, will you feel the life and the joy dancing with you? Maybe you will… 😉
Especially if you stay at the studio MIRO at HOME IN LA DÉFENSE! 🏙📍🌆
