I’ll never tire of this view! Walking straight onto the beach and just enjoying the space and the sound of the ocean, albeit with a cloud (just the one) in the sky. Still 22-24 degrees here. 😎

It’s the first weekend in October and we’re still full on the campsite! 😊 (please excuse the grass, it’s recovering from the drought) We’ve still got availability for October and our direct bookings in the B&B are on offer for the rest of the month.

This is what we moved to France for! 😊 A fantastic beach-front bar, live music and endless blue skies. 😎 All within 20 minutes.

Fantastic news for the region; the D-Day beaches have been granted UNESCO World Heritage status due to their importance to the history of humanity. Added to the growing importance of the Marais Regional Park as a nesting site for migratory bird species makes the Cotentin Peninsula a really exciting destination. (Plus lazing on the sands of nearly empty golden beaches isn’t too bad either)

A bit of a surprise this morning to look out and see 16 new guests on the campsite! The local farmer’s cows came to us in search of greener pasture… they’ve had a good feed and have now returned home. 😊

It’s great to see our campsite and our B&B full. Of course it’s our business now, but it’s also our passion and to have so many guests share it with us is really amazing! Cheers to a long summer in the Normandy sunshine. 🥂🍾😊
