We also offer a boutique Chambre D'hôte for adults only including breakfast on the terrace of the restaurant. cater for caravan and motor homes with exclusive facilities for each pitch, an 11x5m heated swimming pool and B&B facilities for those without touring vehicles

7pm and it’s glorious on the campsite ! All the pitches still have lovely evening sunshine with glorious views with the farmers in the fields. Swimming pool is now open and ready for our guests. The last few days have been very long but the grass and hesges are cut and everything has been power washed and sparkling! As the owners John Gourley and Hazel are chilling in the sunshine with the campers chairs and table we supply on arrival for use on their holidays! Well we had to test the chairs and the Bordeaux wine too!! A bientôt !!!

I think winter is officially over!!

Spring has arrived and hard work has paid off on the campsite garden. Beautiful sunrise and sunsets over the gardens! Not long until we open we are so excited!

A little late but « bonne annee » 2026 !

We can’t wait for the camping season to start in May and we are thrilled with the bookings we have received already for this year!

We have decided to also open the calendar doors for 2027 too!!!

January has been a very wet month and we are so looking forward to the nicer weather to get a good few jobs done around the campsite and camping block for us to be happy with the high standards to continue!

We have made friends with a lovely bar owner in the local village of Verteillac! He opens mornings only and we pop into the Boulangerie across the road and have our lovely pastries with his amazing coffee !!!

Tonight is the wolf moon for January, we have been hunting down the wolves around the campsite to ensure they have gone before our season starts in May ! Cool minus 6 tonight!!!

A lovely 22 degrees today and the neighbour’s friendly cat called Max is making the most of the sunshine around the campsite! Sorry Max the restaurant is shut!!

The 2nd season is over and it’s so strange and emotional to see empty pitches. It’s really sad but we have met soo many lovely amazing people!!! We are already planning next years 3rd season starting 1st May 2026! Hope to see you all soon ###

Another lovely Sunday evening for dinner with our guests at the Stumble Inn. Two beautiful pooches loved the playpen for dogs whilst their parents had dinner with us. The moon was absolutely amazing last night from the outside terrace the photo doesn’t do it any justice…
