A fun afternoon celebrating this guys birthday. Cycled to I’île de la Barthelasse and had lunch at Le Bercail. It’s always nice sitting on the side of the Rhône looking towards Avignon and Pont Saint-Bénézet. Tried our hand at mini golf where K2 thrashed me, then we cycled around the island stopping at Manguin en Provence. On other occasions when we have passed by they have various sizes of bottles hanging over the small buds of pears in the orchard opposite the car park but maybe it’s to early. Then we took the bikes on the free ferry across the Rhône before biking home. The ferry is a nice thing to do as you get great views.
