This beautifull farm is located in the valley of Périgord Vergt. Over half the region consists of forest and is an ideal holiday destination for families. The farm has a swimming pool and surrounded by 23 hectares of private land with a water source and a small pond, and is only 3 km from the village of Rouffignac. The house is tastefully furnished and ideally suited for groups such as fam
ilies, friends or relatives. Children can enjoy a real farm experience as they meet our farm animals and have access to wide outdoor area and outdoor activities. There is also access to the front entrance of the house to load and unload luggage and shopping. INTERACTION
We live in the house next door and obviously accessible for advice, help and information. We offer babysitting alongside some Arts and Craft activities. There are two baby cots available for families with young children. There is an optional archery course under the owners supervision. WHAT IS THERE TO DO ?
** Art & Craft:
Jewelery, decorations, tissue; gifts (under reservation). Thursday; Beginners acrylic painting workshop, drawing with charcoal (under reservation).
** swimming and bathing: dining table, chairs, barbecue, 2 hammocks for relaxing and snoozing in the shade.
** Bonfire: evenings under the stars with a glass of French wine

** Archery: under the supervision and instruction of the owner.
** Play area with a swing for children and babies, a climbing ladder, a slide and hoops on string.

The village shops are closed in the afternoons, and the local markets end at 13 pm. It is important to do your shopping in advance or alternative for meals you can enjoy an evening at the restaurants in Rouffignac or in St. Geyrac (Les 4 Saisons).
**The famous Rouffignac cave is also only 5km from the house. RULES

CLEANING
The swimming pool area, garden furniture, all facilities inside and outside including the BBQ must be clean before departure. In case that any materials or equipment is broken or damaged , it is important to inform the owner.
* Cleaning services : 100 euro.
* Sheets and towels are available on request for 15 € per person (complete set ; down duvet, bed sheet and 2 pillowcases- 2 medium towels and 1 large one for shower and bathing and tea towels.) BINS: In the village there are large black and yellow waste containers by the side of the road. The big yellow recycling bags are in the kitchen. All glass must be separated and taken to the glass container (located in village)
All bins and glass must be removed from the property before departure. Left bins will be charged with a 35 euro deduction from your of deposit. THE POOL is 9 by 3.5 meters and 1.5 meters deep, with corner staircase fro access. Around the pool there is a fence with a gate witch can be locked for safety. Children are not allowed unsupervised at the pool! Children who can not swim must wear swimming bands. No running around the pool. It is important to remove floating toys to ensure a proper filtering the pool. Every 2 days the pool is cleaned by the owner. All outside cushions are to be placed in the large storage box at night. Please close the umbrellas every evening and before going out! A cleaning net is available (to be used adults only). ANIMALS: Every day you can enjoy picking fresh eggs from the hen house! Please remember to close all gates, fences and doors of the sheep, horses and chickens , these must not be left open ! FARM AND VILLAGE
This Farm is surrounded by 23 hectares of private land, and only at 3 km from the village of Rouffignac. The village has a Carrefour ( mini supermarket ), a petrol station, a bakery, a butcher, a post office, A TM, a Tourist Office, a new medical center and a pharmacy. There are three restaurants: Hotel de France, La Renaissance and L'Inatendu. THE REGION
Visit the Prehistoric sites like the Rock of St. Christophe, Les Madeleines in le Moustier and the Cro-Magnon in Les Eyzies. The Prehistoric Interactive Center for children and adults le Thot is great day trip for a family visit .The grotes de Lascaux in Montignac sur Vézère. There is also the Rouffignac caves to visit which has a small train trip as part of the guide! This unique area is known for its 1001 castles, delicious wines, famous truffles, foie gras, walnuts and its delicious cuisine ! In Périgueux, the capital of Dordogne, there is a beautiful neo-Byzantine church. You will find in Trélissac and Boulazac a wide range of shops and supermarkets. There is air travel and car rental in Bergerac airport (55 min) and Bordeaux (2 hours) from and to Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam and London with Ryanair and Flight B.
