‘La Ruche’ bed and breakfast is situated in Ségur-le-Château in the Correze department of South West France. Ségur-le-Château is one of the prized Beaux Villages de France and is just 30 minutes off the A20 motorway and 1 hour from Limoges Airport. Built in 1750 but recently renovated, La Ruche bed and breakfast is overlooked by the impressive ruins of the 12th century castle and is a stone's throw from the Auvezerre river.
Whether you are following the Richard the Lionheart touring route, exploring the apple growing region of the Limousin, looking for a peaceful break to enjoy the French flora and fauna or to experience one of Ségur's special events (such as the local producers market held every Monday evening in July and August), we can offer you a relaxing stay for one or more nights. All four of our traditional rooms come complete with modern en suites, USB points, free wifi and a complimentary continental breakfast served in our large dining room overlooked by the castle.
We welcome all tourers (we have a secure space for overnight storage of bicycles or motorbikes on request), are dog-friendly, can cater for all dietary requirements (please let us know before visiting!) and also offer packed lunches and dog-sitting for an extra charge.
