The Canal du Midi is another great reason to discover the Occitanie region this summer. Stretching from Bordeaux to Narbonne it’s the ideal spot for cycling, strolling, running & boating. (There are also few excellent cafes, restaurants and bars hidden along the way 😉)
There are still a few weeks available at the Bouriou gite in Saint-Antonin-de-lacalm. Book now to avoid disappointment. 👆

The summer season is approchons and the beautiful village of Lautrec is another reason to visit the Tarn in 2019.

If you’re looking for a Sunday day trip with a great market during your stay I would highly recommend taking the time to visit Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val. This picturesque village is not far from Albi & Cordes and the Sunday morning market is just amazing. You can also hike, canoe down the Aveyron Gorges, experience a great VTT trail, chill out on (& in) the river and enjoy the craft markets and superb lunch spots. (But perhaps not all in one day!)

Si vous cherchez à faire une balade le dimanche lors de votre séjour avec nous, je vous recommande le village de Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val. Le marché dominical est juste superbe et il y a énormément d’activités disponible autour du village (canoë, randonné, VTT, relax sur la rivière ...) sans oublié des petits restaurants très sympa! .

Pretty much one of the only reasons needed to visit the Tarn this year! This is a view over a part of Albi and it’s amazing Cathedral, Sainte Cecile. And it’s a mere 20 minutes away from the gîte.
